These White Beauties Are Captivating!

Beautiful White Flowers Photographed By Renard Moreau
Irresistible white beauties.
I have a habit of carrying my camera with me outdoors; the purpose being: that if I encounter something beautiful or interesting, I can photograph it.

Recently, I took a picture of these beautiful white flowers in front one of the houses in Five Rivers, Arouca (Please don't ask me what they are called, because I am horrible when it comes to the names of flowers; all that I know is, that they are beautiful and that they are worth photographing).

It has been a while since I photographed some flowers (And, I am glad that I took this photo to share with my viewing audience).

I hereby dedicate this beautiful picture to all of those people around the world that have a deep appreciation for beautiful and delicate things. Enjoy!

Another Beautiful Random Flora Snapshot

Another Beautiful Random Flora Snapshot Photographed By Renard Moreau
I felt that this plant was worthy of being photographed.
Well, it is no big secret that I have a huge appreciation for beauty (I am quite fond of photographing trees, plants and flowers).

The biggest joke of all is: I do not know the name of this plant (And, I do not think that I need to know its name in order to appreciate its beauty).

I had a strong urge to photograph something; so I went outside of my house and I photographed this beauty; I hope that you like it. Enjoy!

A Huge Heap Of Okra

Okras Photographed By Renard Moreau
Some lovely-looking okras.
Internationally, this highly nutritious vegetable is known as okra; however, in The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, we refer to it as, ochro.

If we were to say to the person selling it, "I will have this beautiful bunch of okra," they would look at us as though we were from another planet.

The person would then reply, "Oh, I believe you meant ochroes."

Oh well, different name, same vegetable.

In some English-speaking countries, it is also known by other names; such as: bhindi, ladies' fingers, gumbo or bamia.

Confusing, isn't it?

Okay, I will agree that sort of thing is, enough to give anyone a mild headache.

Recently, I took the liberty of photographing these green-coloured beauties the last time that I was present at the market in Tunapuna.

I love to photograph fruits and vegetables (So, I couldn't help myself; I had the strong urge to photograph this vegetable).

For the record, all vegetables are good for us; they enhance our health.

Okra's nutritional content comprises of: vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, folates, niacin, riboflavin, pyridoxine, thiamine, pantothenic acid, calcium, copper, magnesium, phosphorous, zinc, iron, copper, manganese and selenium.

So, the next time that you encounter them at the farmers' market, or your neighbourhood supermarket, I suggest that you purchase a portion of them.

They can be boiled, stewed or fried (And, they do taste lovely).

Now, I don't have to tell you, that after I photographed this huge heap of okras, I bought a portion of them for myself.

Photography is, fun (And, the consumption of locally grown food is, also fun too).

The Photogenic Pumpkin

(A really cool photo of a pumpkin)
The last time that I was at the market in Tunapuna, I felt the sudden urge to photograph this pumpkin.

I like to share my photography with my viewing audience and they seem to appreciate it a lot.

As you have found out, you can find almost any type of post on, The Chronicles Of Renard; including, photography posts!

There are those people who check out this blog to get a look of the plants, flowers and trees that I have photographed (I do not want to neglect those viewers of mine who like that sort of thing, so I took a random snapshot of these flowers).

I also believe that the timing is perfect for uploading this image to my blog since it is Valentine's Day.

By the way, I would like to wish all of my beloved viewers from around the world, "A Happy Valentine's Day!"

I also would like to dedicate this beautiful photo to all of the flower-lovers on the world wide web. Enjoy!

Another Beautiful Random Flower-Shot

Another Beautiful Random Flower-Shot Photographed By Renard Moreau
More of Mother Nature's beauties.
Recently, I took a random snapshot of these beauties at Convent Street, Arouca (I couldn't let the sight of those flowers go by without photographing them; which is what happens when you are a lover of Nature).

I love to photograph flowers and people love to look at photographs of flowers (So, things are definitely in favour for both the photographer and the viewer). Enjoy!

A Cute Flower-View

A Cute Flower-View Photographed By Renard Moreau
A splendid view of flowers.
I am proud to admit that most of the times, I have my camera on me (This is way better than leaving your camera at home and wishing you had brought your camera with you).

Recently, I had the opportunity of taking a snapshot of this rather impressive view; which was taken in Five Rivers, Arouca.

Flowers are beautiful and delicate (And, they are without a doubt, worth photographing too).

Pink Adorable Flowers

Pink Adorable Flowers Photographed By Renard Moreau
Another beautiful sight to behold.
Recently, I was in Five Rivers, Arouca; that day, I managed to carry my camera with me (I was prepared to photograph anything that came my way).

When I saw those beautiful, pink flowers, I did not hesitate to photograph them.

Also, I was desperate to get some photography done for the month of February (Mission accomplished).

My Dog Is A Lizard Murderer

My Dog Princess Photographed By Renard Moreau
(A photograph of my dog, Princess.)
My dog, Princess has a reputation for killing lizards; if she happens to see lizards walking or running in the yard, she would go after them.

There was a time when she killed two lizards and left them in my walkway (I was a bit annoyed that she had killed them; I did not have much of a choice in regards to disposing of them).

I remembered telling my friends on WordPress about the incident and they mentioned to me that she wanted to honour me by leaving two dead lizards for me (Hey, that is one honour that I can do without).

Recently, she murdered a much larger lizard — an iguana and left it for me to dispose of (And again, I was annoyed because I had to carry out the funeral rites for the late Mr. Iguana).

I think that my dog should have an idea by now that I hate those kinds of gifts.

I can bet my last dollar that she is going to murder another lizard whenever one of them crosses her path.

Maybe, I should have asked the Universe for a Buddhist dog — a dog that is at peace with everything and everyone (But unfortunately, it is a bit too late for that now).

I will just have to live with the fact that my dog, Princess, is a lizard murderer and that she likes to honour me by leaving dead lizards for me to find.

What would you have done if you were in my shoes? Would you have called the Dog Whisperer? Or, would you simply let things be?

By the way, if you ever choose to visit me, do not come by dressed in a lizard costume; because my dog would personally see to it that you meet your maker.

Rita Ora Grabs Everyone's Attention With Her Topless Snapshot

Rita Ora On Instagram
Rita Ora's racy snapshot (Photo credit: Instagram)
Recently, British singer, Rita Ora uploaded a topless photo of herself on the popular social media Instagram with the caption: "Hey Sexy Lady" (When I first heard about it, I thought to myself, "Huh? You have got to be kidding me!" But, when I finally found it, I immediately realized that it was done in good taste; she did not show any breast-nipples; only a partial view of  her breast).

As you can see, she shows off her stylish tattoo of a a topless woman smelling a rose.

Admirers of Rita Ora  started circulating the photo among their friends when it first came online (It had received over 83,000 likes from those within the Instagram community).

Oh well, there is no publicity as great as self-publicity (And, Rita Ora has mastered that rather well)!

Photogenic Tomatoes And Okras

Photogenic Tomatoes And Okras Photographed By Renard Moreau
Having some fun with my food.
Recently, I took it upon myself to photograph some vegetables (And, I was in the mood to photograph something of an interesting nature anyway).

After the photo-shoot, they were consumed rather slowly; the tomatoes I ate raw and the okras were cooked.

Just in case you are wondering about the health benefits of these vegetables, they are as follows:

The Nutritional Value Of Tomatoes

The wonderful news is, that tomatoes are low in calories and they are also low in fat; they do not contain any cholesterol.

They also contain: lycopene, niacin, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, magnesium, manganese, iron, phosphorous and zinc.

The Nutritional Value Of Okra

Okra contains a minute amount of protein; it also contains: vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, choline, niacin, pantothenic acid, ribolflavin, thiamin and folate.

The Conclusion

So, as many of you have already figured out, tomatoes and okras are not only good to photograph, they are good to eat too.

A Beautiful Wet Leaf

A Beautiful Wet Leaf Photographed By Renard Moreau
A lovely snapshot of a plant.
Today (Tuesday 18th, November), was a rainy day in The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. When the rain had ceased, I went outside and I took a snapshot of this beautiful plant; I immediately noticed that the large leaf on top was covered with water droplets and the remaining leaves were somewhat dry (Hmm. Quite amazing).

Anyway, I hereby dedicate this photo to all of the plant-lovers on the world wide web. Enjoy!
