Google Causes Me To Scratch My Head

Google Logo

Have you ever wondered what Google is up to? I know that I have; I have been keeping an eye on Google for the longest while.

I have noticed for quite sometime that Google is taking longer to index the posts from my blog on Blogger; it takes an average of one day before I can actually see my latest post in Google's search listings.

The biggest irony is: my posts on my WordPress blog are indexed by Google within minutes.

Some experts have stated that if you post regularly, search engines will have no choice but to take notice of your blog.

Well, I do update the contents of my WordPress blog regularly; which could be one of the reasons why Google takes notice of it.

Although I post daily on Blogger, I do not do the same quantity of posts here, like my other blog on WordPress.

Recently, I mentioned to my friends on Blogger that I would be posting less; the purpose of this was to provide me with more time to peruse the articles on the blogs of others.

However, I am left wondering, "Did Google decide to take a longer time to index my articles because of the fact that I cut down the number of posts on my blog on Blogger?"

Anyway, I am still pleased to know that the articles on my blog are still being indexed; because there are bloggers whose articles are no longer indexed by Google.

I guess that I would have to do a larger volume of posting here on Blogger; like what I did when I first started, The Chronicles Of Renard; which was no less than four posts daily.

Hmm. But, that is kind of crazy. Why? Because, if a blogger updates his or her posts daily, Google is supposed to take notice of their articles, whether it is only one article or a whole bunch of articles.

I am no expert on Google, but it looks as though they are experimenting with some new type of algorithm — an algorithm that is being tested to replace the Hummingbird Algorithm.

Now, I doubt that the Googlebots are biased (They should not be, because they are not human; they are a sophisticated form of artificial intelligence).

Oh well, Google can leave me a bit dumbfounded at times.

I will conduct an experiment; I will start back posting more articles on a daily basis on my blog on Blogger and see if that would inspire the Googlebots to index my posts faster.

What are your views on this? Have you noticed that Google is taking longer to index your articles on your blog on Blogger? Or, did you manage to get your posts deindexed?

For the record, this is one mystery that I would like to solve and I would not mind getting your help to solve it.
